Here is the comic strip I drew for Indigenous Peoples Day. Ish Kwe Ninj is pronounced phonetically, with the accent on the second syllable.
I’m having fun with this blog but a couple of developments have led me to reconsider continuing it.
When I wrote articles that featured interviews or meetings with famous animation people, Animation Anarchy got many followers.
When I shifted to comics from animation, and renamed this blog, I got no comments and few likes. I have started losing (free) subscribers. Someone even removed a recommendation. It’s as if nothing I am doing now is as interesting as what other animation people do or did then.
I’m no longer interested in writng about other animation people. I like what I am doing now.
Writing and drawing a comic strip is a lot of work. I am making a little animation storyboard each day. I love doing the strip because, unlike my animation, my name is on every piece of artwork and there is no doubt about who created it.
I am enjoying the Furbabies and some very good story lines are coming up. I am very happy that GoComics distributes it on their site. I will continue blogging here. We will see what happens in December.
Happy Indigenous Peoples Day and may it be a good one for you.
Discovered you from the Orbsters on BCN on GoComics. I do hope you keep FurBabies going!
It's OK. The strip needs to run about 6 months to catch on. And there have been more favorable comments on the strip. Not everyone is going to like it. That's OK too. They have plenty of other strips to view on the site.
