Odd Days
And they will be very odd.
FurBabies will be in repeats through May 31. New strips will appear on odd days only, beginning June 1. Since GoComics won’t let me delete the ‘even day’ strips that were already uploaded there will be surpsises on June 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10. If you like them the change will become permanent until I go back to daily updates.
I do not want to turn out substandard work and hope that you get some laughs out of this. I got the idea from the great Ruben Bolling. Nuff said about that. See you in the funny papers and once again, thank you.
Repetitions? Excellent! Time to go down memory lane and to re-visit oldies but goodies. Go on and enjoy your rest.
I admit I have been lax in reading comics online. I'm trying to wean myself off of so much mobile-phone time!! I so miss the days when our household got the paper every day and my Dad would be at the table reading it and doing the crossword puzzle and asking for help with answers, and the Sunday paper would be all over the table, and I'd read the comics and the leisure section and the opinions....Today everything is the phone and there is so much stuff competing with comics!
If FurBabies and other comics have suffered from the changes to GoComics, then the changes were not good.
FurBabies deserves to be in print and it is unfortunate that things are the way they are. A book collection would be so good! Perhaps that way, the strip could get attention from the mainstream. We remember the impact Calvin and Hobbes had. Everyone was talking about it.
I have FurBabies as a shortcut on my device and I will try to read it every day!
