Excellent Sunday page. I hope the strip eventually appears in print newspapers. Sunday strips should be read by kids lying on the floor like the old days.

Unfortunately some newspapers don't care so much about their comics and print them not only too small, but looking as though they came from a faulty home printer.

Although it's very early, I hope there will be book collections too!

Hi Paul, thank you for the kind remarks. The best thing about online comics is: the comic is not edited, and no panels are dropped because of a newspaper's lack of space (this is why many strips that originaed in newspapers have a separate 'short gag' in the first row, in case it needs to be dropped. Even Charles M. Schulz had to do that with the early Peanuts, while Bill Watterson never did that for Calvin and Hobbes...different times!) The other great thing about online comics is that you can see all of them, from the beginning, and not have them forgotten when the paper is taken out for recycling. How neat is that? I hope that FurBabies is eventually collected into a book...we have to get there first, though! I hope that you enjoy reading it, like and follow the strip, and tell your friends about it. Thank you again for your kind remarks.

At first Bill Watterson had to do the expendable panels, but eventually he was able to do the Sunday page the way he wanted to, resulting in some really good pages.
