Good afternoon, madame. How this made me laugh! Of course, furrrturnitty is impossible to translate in French withouth losing its wordplay. My favourite? Shawm's jowls bulging as he enjoys his pain perdu et croissants.
It was the best two years of my life. I had it easy because I was teaching in a town that had electricity, (though we did lose it for five months due to the generator died and we had to wait for the new generator plant to be finished), and running water, (which we also lost due to the power failure, during that time my water came from a rain collection barrel which always full.)
I'm so glad we're getting another storyline. But, I'm gladder that you feel refreshed enough that you were able to hear the Fur Family when they were telling you.
Can't wait!! I've been sadder every day since you removed the FurBabies. They have been the first and last comic I read every day while you had them on GoComics.
I hope you enjoyed the rest. By the way, July 26 is Liberia Independence Day. The reason I would know this is because I spent two years in the Peace Corps there teaching (12/1974 to 12/1976).
I am so happy I can't stop smiling. I have been rereading the strips from the beginning even though I read the book. Now I think I'll do a little dance Sirius
I forgot to congratulate you on your return! Sorry, lambing season has started, I am a bit unfastened.
I completely understand. Lambs take priority

I can occasionally make puns in German, but not in French. Floof has to use a bit of English in the French version.
Of course! Bis bald, gesegnete Frau!

Yay! A new Fur Babies story. Thank you so very much.
And I love Floof's butchered French. Furrturnity indeed.
So cute! I just got home from lunch at a local French restaurant, in honor of Bastille Day and my father’s birthday. We go there every year.
Nancy, I'm so happy to see this great news! And thanks for the adorable Bastille Day cartoon!
Welcome back. The Babies always make my day brighter.
I would celebrate Bastille Day with some real French pastry.
I did! There's a new French bakery next door!
Yay! Glad you'll be back. Will you be back on Go Comics or only here on Substack?
Gocomics. Substack articles will talk about the strips.
You're coming back - YAAAAAYYYYY! Can't wait! 😻😻😻😻😻
Thank you!
Hi Nancy,
Can't wait!! I've been sadder every day since you removed the FurBabies. They have been the first and last comic I read every day while you had them on GoComics.
Ken
The FurBabies will do their best to amuse.
Hooray!
Hourra!

Liberia has a strong connection to the USA. Did you enjoy your stay there?

Thank you, and...my blushes, Watson. (tell GoComics that, too!)
Done
Hey, Nancy,
Will you be at Word On The Streets in Toronto this September?
I will visit, but won't have a booth. I may bring a copy of my book but would have to keep it under a raincoat. Pssst...wanna buy cartoons?
Thanks to Patrick Mate for proofreading my French dialogue.
