Terrific blog! Your “conversation “ with Charles Brubaker is a wonderful example of how great comic strips have a life of their own as a living entity, guided by the talents of you, the creator. The beginnings of FurBabies is a terrific story in and of itself. Thanks for this inspiring insight. The on-going life of FurBabies is a very cheerful part of my life.

Lynn Johnston sent me the nib as a Christmas present. While most cartoonists use animation methods (reusing backgrounds and character art) few of them draw on paper. I'm an oddball. Thank you for your kind words.
